Electric Performance Deserves Lasting Protection.

EVs are a different machine. They deserve a different level of care. Larger surfaces, thinner paint, sensors everywhere, and we know where to focus.

Start the Conversation

Your EV represents a real investment in performance and technology. But electric vehicles come with specific vulnerabilities: expansive front fascias that take the brunt of highway debris, glass roofs with no coverage, paint that can’t simply be resprayed at a body shop without affecting resale. At Altitude Auto Spa, we protect what makes your vehicle worth owning.

Why it matters

Why EVs Need a Different Approach

Larger front surfaces mean more exposure to rock chips and road grime. Heat-rejecting window film reduces cabin temperature without taxing your battery. And because many EV paint finishes are thinner or more complex to color-match, protecting the original surface matters more from day one.

01
Paint Protection Film

Keep the original finish, no matter what the road throws at it.

Clear PPF creates an invisible layer of protection against rock chips, road debris, and environmental fallout. For EVs with exposed front bumpers, full hoods, or full-body coverage needs, it’s the most effective long-term investment you can make. Virtually invisible once installed, it preserves the factory finish without changing the look of your vehicle.

02
Color Change

Make it yours. Protect what’s underneath.

If you want to change the look of your EV, you have two strong options depending on your goals. Color PPF gives you a new finish and full paint protection in one application — matte, satin, or gloss — and is the better choice if long-term protection is the priority. Vinyl wrap offers a wider range of finishes and textures at a lower price point, with the added benefit of preserving the original paint underneath. When you’re ready to return to stock, it comes off clean. We’ll help you figure out which direction makes the most sense for your vehicle and how you use it.

03
Ceramic Coating

Low maintenance. High protection. Built to last.

A ceramic coating bonds directly to your EV’s paint and creates a hydrophobic surface that repels water, dirt, and contaminants. It makes washing easier, keeps the finish looking sharper for longer, and adds UV protection against the intense Utah sun. We coat paint, glass, wheels, and interior surfaces for comprehensive coverage.

04
Window Tinting

Cooler cabin. Less AC. More range.

Heat rejection is more than a comfort feature on an EV — it directly affects battery range. Our ceramic window films block heat and UV without interfering with the electronics, sensors, or cameras your vehicle depends on. We work within Utah’s tint laws (35% front, any darkness rear, 70% windshield) and can help you find the right balance of comfort, visibility, and compliance.

05
Windshield Protection Film

Your windshield takes more abuse than any other surface on your car.

Windshield protection film is an optically clear layer applied directly to the glass to absorb the impact of rocks and debris that would otherwise crack or chip the surface. On EVs — where windshield replacement often requires sensor recalibration and can run well over a thousand dollars — prevention is a significantly smarter investment than replacement. We carry multiple film options and will recommend the right one for your vehicle and how you drive.

06
Chrome Deletes & Accents

Clean it up. Make it look intentional.

Factory chrome trim can look dated on modern EVs. We replace chrome badges, mirror caps, window surrounds, and other trim with matte or gloss black, body-matched color, or any finish you want. It’s one of the fastest ways to sharpen the look of your vehicle.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Will window tint interfere with my EV’s cameras or sensors?
Our ceramic films are non-metallic and do not interfere with radar, cameras, or parking sensors. We take care around sensor locations during installation.
Can PPF be applied to a Tesla’s glass roof?
Yes. We can apply clear PPF to glass roofs to protect against surface scratches and minor abrasion.
Does ceramic coating work on the matte or textured panels some EVs use?
Yes, with the right product. We’ll assess your vehicle’s specific surfaces before recommending a coating.
How soon after taking delivery should I bring my EV in?
As soon as possible. The sooner protection goes on, the more of the original finish you preserve. We recommend scheduling within the first week or two of ownership.
