Austin started his career in the automotive protection industry in 2019, beginning with window tinting before expanding into paint protection film, vinyl wraps, ceramic coatings, and paint correction. That progression wasn’t accidental — each discipline built on the last, and each required dedicated training to do correctly.
In 2023 Austin competed in the automotive window tinting heat at the International Window Film Tint-Off, one of the most recognized competitive events in the industry. His ceramic coating and paint correction techniques were developed under the instruction of some of the most respected professionals in the detailing field. That foundation of formal training and competitive experience is what separates a precise, lasting installation from one that looks good on day one and fails at month six.
